Why #BoycottPVRInox is Trending? Understanding the Reasons Behind the Hashtag

The highly anticipated film 'Salaar' starring the renowned actor Prabhas in the entertainment world is nearing its release. Advance booking is in full swing, creating a buzz among Prabhas' fans. However, recent reports suggest that the 'Salaar' team has withdrawn its release from PVR Inox, and makers have criticized Ajay Bijli for inappropriate behavior.

According to media reports, the team of the film 'Dhakki' is demanding a 100% screen share from single-screen exhibitors and is compelling them to showcase Shah Rukh Khan's film instead of Prabhas' 'Salaar.' The Single Screen Association has taken a firm stance and refused to open bookings for 'Dhakki' on Friday. Now, news is emerging that the 'Salaar' team has taken a strong stand against the unfair practices adopted by the team behind Shah Rukh Khan's starrer 'Dhakki.' The 'Salaar' team is planning to cause losses to multiplex chains - PVR Inox and Miraj.

The makers have decided to pull the release of 'Salaar' from multiplex chains in the South Indian markets. They will not release 'Salaar' in any South Indian market. Reports suggest that PVR Inox and Miraj withdrew their commitment to equal screening after promising the same for single screens. When Shah Rukh and his team learned about the option of equal screening in PVR Inox, Shah Rukh Khan himself stepped into the field and negotiated directly with PVR management. He reached an agreement with PVR Inox for 100% screening on all single screens. The decision on screen sharing was changed overnight.

According to media reports, the Hombale team is planning to take strict action against Ajay Bijli and PVR Inox for their decision. It is noteworthy that 'Salaar,' starring Prabhas, is scheduled for release in theaters on December 22nd.
