International Children's Day: Know the history, significance and other details

Do you know why International Children's Day is celebrated, so today we talk about the same, International Child Rights Day was established in 1954. The vision of this International Children's Day Was given by Krishna Menon. This day is celebrated to promote international solidarity, awareness of children and welfare of children. November 20 is known as a very important day because the United Nations General Assembly announced the rights of the child in 1959. This day becomes even more important because in 1989, the United Nations was to adopt the recommendations of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in 1990, the day of World Child Rights Day is also important because on the same day the United Nations General Assembly made both declarations. 

When is International Child Rights Day celebrated?

Let us tell you that 'International Children's Rights Day' or 'Universal Children's Day' is celebrated by the United Nations on 20 November every year. This day is also called "Childhood Day", 191 countries of the world have accepted the criteria set by the United Nations General Assembly and have expressed their awareness about children's rights.

Main objectives of International Day of Child Rights:

Mutual cooperation and harmony can be established among children around the world. Various welfare works can be conducted for the welfare of all the children of the world.
