In yet another horrific incident in the Kanpur countryside of Uttar Pradesh, a woman along with her lover killed her husband and then both fled from the spot. Her daughter lodged a complaint against her mother, the police has registered a case against the mother and her lover. According to the information, The police had also announced a reward of Rs 10,000 each on the murderers. The incident took place 6 months ago and the police was successful in arresting the woman and her lover. Both have been sent behind the bars after being produced in the court. This case is of Aliyapur village under the Mangalpur police station area, where Santosh Kumar was strangled to death in April 2022. The deceased daughter Madhu had filed a murder case against her mother Urmila and her lover Sunil. Both the accused were absconding for a long time. The Superintendent of Police of the district had also announced a reward of ten thousand rupees on both the accused for catching them. Urmila and Sunil had an affair from 20 years. They told during the investigation. The Accused's husband Santosh Kumar used to oppose this and had insulted Urmila many times in front of everyone. To avenge this, Santosh was strangled to death and the body was tied up and thrown. His wife was also aware of the husband's murder and she supported his boyfriend in committing his murder.
