Kolkata: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has suddenly left for Delhi on Saturday morning. The governor's move is also reported lying in the Kolkata High Court after the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) filed a report on the violence that erupted after the Bengal elections, linking the governor's move to the imposition of President's rule in Bengal. Tell me, violence erupted in Bengal after the assembly elections. the NHRC has submitted its inquiry report to the Kolkata High Court in the case. The report recommends an inquiry into the Bengal violence by CBI. Taking cognizance of the report, the Kolkata High Court said it will hear the violence that erupted after the elections on July 22. The court also asked NHRC to share a soft copy of its report with the state government and petitioners. It may be recalled that the court had earlier NHRC on June 18 ordered a committee to set up a committee to probe the violence that erupted in Bengal after the elections on June 18 and investigate all cases of human rights violations in violence. Violence erupted in many parts of West Bengal after TMC won the assembly elections on the BJP. Several petitions were filed in the High Court after the violence. Hearing the petitions, the court had ordered an NHRC probe into the post-election violence. However, the West Bengal government had filed a petition against the order. But the Kolkata High Court had dismissed the government's appeal.
