45+ people will not get vaccine in Uttar Pradesh without registration

New Delhi: Vaccination campaign continues rapidly in the country amid corona epidemic. In Uttar Pradesh also, vaccine supplements are being administered to people above the age of 18 years. UP's Yogi government has now decided that people over the age of 45 will now get the first dose of the vaccine only after online registration. I.e. there will be no registration at the center. The new system will come into effect from May 10.

A circular sent by Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health to district collectors of all districts of the state said, 'From May 10, all people above 45 years of age will be registered online for the first dose of vaccine, the system of on-the-spot registration through walk-in has been suspended from May 10'. Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health, has said, 'People who have to get a second dose of the vaccine can be registered as before'.

Yesterday, 26,780 new corona cases have been registered in UP, while more than 28,000 patients recovered. In the last 24 hours, 353 people have died of corona in the state. 1227 new corona cases have been registered in Noida, UP adjoining Delhi, while 13 people died. Corona cases in western UP are growing rapidly.
