June 1, 2016: At Powai ,a 30-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging at her up market residence. The episode came to light on Tuesday.
The dead woman has been recognized as Jaskamal Sehwag.
As per the police, “Sehwag resided with her parents in a first-floor flat of Paradise Building near Jain Mandir Road in Powai. On Tuesday afternoon, she was found hanging in her bedroom. The family then informed the police about the incident”
The Powai police station officer said, “We did not find any suicide note at the spot and hence we are probing what drove her to end her life. Sehwag's family has told the police that she was under some stress since the past few months,".
