Worship Goddess MahaGauri on the eighth day of Navratri

Goddess Mahagauri: On the eighth day of Navaratri, there is the law of worship Mother Mahagauri. She had performed very tough puja for getting Lord Shiva, which made her body black. When Lord Shiva appeared to her, then by his grace, her body was changed into white again and her name became Gauri. It is believed that Mother Sita worshiped her for the achievement of Shri Rama. Mata Gauri is of white color. She removes all the obstacles related to marriage. In astrology, their relation is believed to be from a planet called Venus. This year Goddess MahaGauri will be worshiped on September 28 i.e., today. 

How to worship Mahagauri: 

-Begin the worship by wearing yellow clothes. Lit the lamp in front of the mother and meditate. Offer a white or yellow flower to the mother in worship. After that chant their mantras. -If worship is done at midnight, then its results will be more auspicious. -Also, offer Itra (perfume) to the mother. -First chant the mantra of the mother. Then chant the original mantra of Venus "ShunShukrai Namah"(ॐ शुं शुक्राय नमः) 

The tradition of feeding girls on the date of Ashtami: Navaratri is not only a festival of fasting. It is also a festival of women's strength and respect for the daughters. Therefore, there is a tradition of worshiping and feeding virgin girls in Navaratri. Although Navratri is a tradition of worshiping girls every day, Ashtami and Navami are definitely worshiped. 

The worship of the daughter of 2 years to 11 years has been done. Girls of different ages tell the different form of Goddess. If there is no money at the time of need, then these measures should be adopted: Offer the silver coin by keeping the mother Gauri in a bowl of milk. After this, pray to Mother Gauri.
