WWE Champion Jinder Mahal makes a History when he visits India this December.

WWE live event will be host in India this December. Last year, WWE superstar visit to India after one and half decade. At WWE Backlash in May earlier this year, Jinder Mahal won the WWE Championship defeating Randy Orton thus becoming only the only Indian-origin wrestler to hold a title in the WWE. Jinder Mahal had made the most of the second chance he got with the WWE and he has not looked back ever since. His recent win at WWE Hell in a Cell against Shinsuke Nakamura - his fourth title defense, leaves him with no other blockage in his way before his visit to India this coming weekend (13 Oct -15 Oct).

And he is returning to India not just as a WWE wrestler, but as the WWE Champion and the first Indian to return home with the WWE championship belt and Jinder makes history. The Great Khali, who held the World Heavyweight Championship for 61 days, never came to India when he held the title during his reign.

Mahal's stocks continued to rise as he defeated the 13-time World Champion Randy Orton at Money in the Bank in Orton's hometown of St Louis, Missouri and then at Battleground in a Punjabi Prison match with the help of The Great Khali. By the time Jinder Mahal ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ soon surpass some of the next WWE pay-per-view comes around, WWE Survivor Series, Mahal will surpass The Miz's title reign of 160 days and will in touching distance of three titles reigns of Sheamus that combined for 183 days.
