Xiaomi is all set to launch a number of phones to in 2019. The company has formally confirmed to begin the New Year by launching a new Redmi phone under the "independent" Redmi brand on Jan 10 in China. Reports suggested that this phone could either be the Redmi Pro 2 or Redmi 7. It also said Xiaomi is also working on the successor to the Mi 8, aka Mi 9.
