Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the allegations of land purchase on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust constructed for construction of Ram Temple and summoned a report on the entire matter. He has directed the trust and the district administration to give detailed information in the matter. As soon as the matter came to light, the whole country came into the limelight. The officials of the trust are facing corruption charges. Congress leaders have also staged a protest over the same. On the other hand, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted on the issue saying, "Crores of people offered offerings at god's feet because of faith and devotion. The misuse of that donation is iniquity, sin, an insult to their faith. Opposition attacks on the issue have intensified. Aam Aadmi Party, Congress have launched a front against the BJP. Opposition parties have accused the trust of looting public money and betraying the sentiments of Hindus." On the other hand, the trust's general secretary Champat Rai said on Monday that the accusers are political people. They are making allegations because of political hatred. In fact, this land has been purchased at a price lower than the market rate. Earlier, Delhi Deputy CM and Rajya Sabha MP Manish Sisodia while addressing a press conference in Delhi said that BJP leaders have scammed crores of rupees in 12080 sq m land purchased by the trust for Ram Mandir.
