Yogi expresses on Kalyan Singh's demise: 'His services will always be remembered'

Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh is no longer in the world. He has died of a prolonged illness. Late last Saturday night, he said goodbye to the world. He breathed his last at PGI Hospital in Lucknow. Let us tell you that, on the death of Kalyan Singh, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath have expressed deep condolences. At the same time, paid floral tributes at Kalyan Singh's mortal remains. Recently, Governor Anandi Ben Patel said, "The passing away of Jan Neta Kalyan Singh, synonymous with purity, transparency, and public service, is an irreparable loss to the entire nation.''

 

 

Moreover, she said, "Kalyan Singh was a very skilled administrator. He fought all his life for the upliftment of the poor and the underprivileged. His services as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will always be remembered. His demise has caused irreparable damage to Indian politics. The Governor has conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members of Kalyan Singh while praying to God for the peace of the departed soul.'' Apart from her, state chief Yogi Adityanath said, "Kalyan Singh, who had been ill for the last two months, was undergoing treatment. He breathed his last at 9 pm on Saturday. We are all saddened by the passing away of Kalyan Singh. As chief minister inside Uttar Pradesh, as a people's leader, he had set examples during his tenure towards cleanliness, values, and ideals in governance. Kalyan Singh Ji's services will always be remembered.''

He further said, "He did not hesitate to give up power so that the decision of lord Shriram's temple could proceed. On December 6, 1992, after the collapse of the disputed structure, he resigned as chief minister, taking moral responsibility for the collapse of the disputed structure. I pray to God for the peace of the departed soul and extend my condolences to the bereaved family members of Kalyan Singh.''
