Yogi cabinet expansion soon, new to come old to be replaced

Lucknow: New faces can be found in the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh soon. The Yogi cabinet is expected to expand on 4 February. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has got new faces in the recent Legislative Council elections. According to sources, CM Yogi may give some of these faces a place in his cabinet.

The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are going to be held in February-March next year. In this sense, this could be the last cabinet extension of CM Yogi. On the other hand, panchayat elections in UP are very close. In such a situation, this expansion of the Yogi cabinet is considered very important. It is worth mentioning that for a long time the UP cabinet has been churning about expansion. Senior BJP leaders have also held meetings in this regard. When BJP's national president JP Nadda visited UP recently, there was a fierce discussion about cabinet expansion at that time as well.

Chetan Chauhan, who was a minister in CM Yogi Adityanath's cabinet, died due to Corona. Along with this, Minister Kamla Rani has also died, due to which two vacancies in the cabinet are vacant. Apart from this, there is talk of preparing to give opportunities to other new faces in the cabinet.
