Penn Badgley's Joe Goldberg is a different person now. He would like us to think this. After the dramatic events of the season 3 finale of You, in which Joe killed Love (Victoria Pedretti), pretended to die, and fled the country, Joe has adopted a new name once more: Professor Jonathan Moore. He reportedly enjoys long beach walks as well as soundproof prisons. The streaming service debuted a sneak peek at the London-based portion of Joe's adventure during its TUDUM fan event on Saturday. In the teaser, he states, "I'm not the lovable bookstore manager in New York, or the shop clerk in L.A., or the doting husband in the suburbs, no, not anymore. Allow me to introduce myself. I've gone through a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond. And living in London has allowed me to bury the past if you will. Gone are the days of unrequited love and longing. This time around I'm focusing on academia and instruction while keeping my typical extracurricular activities strictly professional." But by now, we're all aware that we shouldn't believe a word that comes from that man, especially if he's donning a black baseball cap. We are introduced to all the new characters that will enter Joe's universe in season 4 as Joe's voiceover plays, and they don't exactly seem like the kind of folks that Joe enjoys hanging out with. (In fact, a lot of them resemble the kind of individuals Joe usually ends up killing.) But hey, you never know; maybe the lifestyle in another country may transform him. Netflix also unveiled the debut dates for season 4, which will be split into two parts, along with the teaser video. This is a first for the show. You Part 1 debut on February 10 and Part 2 on March 10.
