New Delhi: A startling incident has come to light in the national capital, Delhi. Police here on Tuesday arrested a person with 10 hand grenades from the Holambi Kalan area. The bomb disposal squad was called to the scene. Police said the culprit has been identified as Dilip alias Billi, 33. He is a resident of Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh. The same is now being interrogated. Police said that the criminal had hidden the hand grenade in a field in the Holambi Kalan area. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Ravi Kumar Singh said that during interrogation, Dilip told police that about 50 days ago, his friend Kashiram had given him 10 hand grenades. Kashiram asked Dilip to keep these hand grenades in a safe place. The criminal then placed these hand grenades inside a plastic bucket. Later, it was covered with grass and hidden in the mud near a drain. The police said that Dileep was promised money in exchange for keeping these bullets safe. He does not know the intention or purpose behind placing these explosive shells. The police said that the matter is being investigated and that they are on the lookout for another criminal, Kashiram. Has sent its team to Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh to catch Kashiram. Police said Dileep was earlier found involved in a theft case. While his partner Kashiram is involved in a robbery case, Police said, these explosives can affect within a radius of 20 feet. Dilip used to change the place where he hid these grenades. A massive search operation was launched with the help of the Bomb Disposal Squad. So that it can be ensured that such substances are not kept hidden in other areas. The DCP said that the intelligence agencies are interrogating the criminals to ascertain the source and purpose of the storage of the grenade.
