Youtube is owned by Google and it is the biggest video platform across the world. In its new initiative, Google India has launched Google Kids, the smartphone application only for the kids. The application is designed for the kids with better design and easy to follow navigation options. The app will be hosting kid-friendly content for their entertainment and learning. The company has added up with the top content providing teams which will be taking ahead this initiative to provide suitable content. The YouTube Kids app has channels and playlists across four categories, namely Shows, Music, Learning, and Explore. Users in India will get access to content like Little Krishna videos, new seasons of Cat & Keet and Appu - The Yogic Elephant, as well as learning shows from channels like ChuChuTV and Kids TV. These are in addition to the existing breadth of child-videos already available on the full YouTube platform, such as Galli Galli Sim Sim, Exam Fever Videos, LittleBabyGum, etc. The application will also have the parental control settings which will allow defining the children age and type of content should be loaded or searched.
