15-Year NBA Veteran Is Reportedly Unfollowed by Ja Morant

Ja Morant has been constantly in the news over the past month.

The Memphis Grizzlies suspended the All-Star point guard following a viral social media video where he allegedly held a gun.

In addition, the 23-year-old recently posted several photos to Instagram that raised concern, and TMZ Sports reported that police checked on him at his house.

On May 17, theNBAalert a Twitter account that tracks the social media activity of NBA players reported that Morant had followed J.J. Redick.

Redick, a 15-year NBA veteran, works for ESPN and is one of the most notable basketball analysts.

However, theNBAalert now reports that Morant has unfollowed Redick on Twitter less than two weeks later.

Besides the recent Instagram stories, Morant has stayed quiet on social media following the viral video his last tweet was on May 13.

The former second-overall pick is one of the most popular players in the league and has made the NBA All-Star Game twice in his first four seasons.

On top of his stellar individual play, the Grizzlies have been among the best teams in the NBA and are coming off a year where they went 51-31 and were the second seed in the Western Conference for the second consecutive season.

That said, they lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.
