Even though over 1 month has passed since Cristiano Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan was revealed, it still continues to be a talking point.

The latest person to speak out about the Portuguese's comments is Antonio Valencia

The Ecuadorian gave his point of view on what happened with Cristiano and his subsequent departure from United.

"The interview he gave was shameful," Valencia explained.

"He will have his reasons for saying what he said, but I felt very bad about the way he left. It hurts.

"I hope everything goes well for him at his new club. I wish him all the best."

Valencia also lamented that the Portuguese star left the team in such a manner when he was one of the most beloved players by the fans.
