David Beckham Gives Final Touches To Mural Of Lionel Messi Before Inter Miami Arrival

Lionel Messi came to a decision to join MLS side Inter Miami after he left PSG. Messi’s move to Inter Miami is a big deal for Inter Miami and MLS as well.

The man who led Argentina to the FIFA World Cup in 2022, is considered the greatest footballer ever and his coming to USA is really a big deal.

Before Messis big unveiling, Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham went the extra mile and provided finishing touches on Lionel Messi’s teeth on a huge mural that was designed by his wife Victoria before Messi arrived.

Messi will make his Inter Miami debut on July 21. On June 9, Messi made public his decision to play for Inter Miami.

“I made the decision that I’m going to go to Miami,” Messi told Mundo Deportivo and Sport newspapers.

“I still haven’t closed it 100. I’m still missing a few things, but we decided to go ahead. If Barcelona didn’t work out, I wanted to leave Europe, get out of the spotlight and think more about my family,” he added.

“After winning the World Cup and not being able to go to Barca, it was time to go to the U.S. league to experience football in a different way and enjoy the day-to-day,” he went on to say.

For most of his career, Messi played for Barcelona. The comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo was there right from the start.

But it only made him more determined to become a better player and ultimately was the star of the show. Now in the twilight of his career, Messi will look to end his career on a high.
