Dwayne Johnson demanded a villainous role In Sylvester Stallone's $789 million "Expendables" franchise

Dwayne Johnson didn’t only make a name for himself in the WWE ring but also beat the biggest A-listers of Hollywood to some of the major roles when it comes to franchises. The man took fans by thrill when expressed his enthusiasm to play a villain in Sylvester Stallone’s 786 million The Expendables franchise, claiming that his friend, Stallone wouldn’t mind creating a role for him.

Franchises, including Fast and Furious and G.I. Joe films, couldn’t have been imagined without Dwayne Johnson. The wrestler-turned-actor gave everyone goosebumps when he expressed his enthusiasm about Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables franchise.

Back in the day, The Rock got pretty upfront about starring in an Expendables flick, and of course not as the good guy. The wrestler wanted to kick some real a and even gave the franchise’s screenwriters a way to sign him in by stating I don’t want to be on their team and be buddies with them. Fk that noise. I want to hunt every single one of them down and tell them to “send your soul to heaven cause your a is mine.”

Working with Sylvester Stallone and Terry Crews is a dream of every actor, and Johnson has already claimed that he is a “buddy” of the legendary director. In this case, Stallone won’t mind writing a kick-a villain part for his pal.

Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables franchise stands on a fortune of over 789 million. The legendary director gave us three back-to-back hits between 2010-2014. Moreover, the 2021 comic book series, The Expendables Go to Hell, certainly raised the bar.

I just saw The Expendables 2 last night and I can honestly tell you that they’re not ready for me. They’re not ready for me. They’re still hunting people down, so they’re really not ready. I haven’t been approached about The Expendables 3.”

The Expendables 3 was released in 2014 and boasted a stellar cast, like Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Terry Crews, and Kesley Grammer. Sadly, Johnson wouldn’t be seen in any role in The Expendables 4, which is scheduled to be released on September 22, 2023. Maybe, it takes more than friendship to impress Stallone.
