This is the second career All-Defensive selection for Jackson, both of which have been first team. For Brooks, this is his first time making one of the two teams.

While there has been a lot of negativity surrounding the Memphis Grizzlies following their first round exit to the Los Angeles Lakers, both Jackson and Brooks are deserving of their All-Defensive selections, and received a congratulatory message from their teammate Ja Morant.
