The son of an Argentinian cleaner and factory worker, Lionel Messi has come a long way from his meager beginnings.

Lionel Messi starts his days bright and early at around 6 am. After tending to personal matters, he hops into the shower at 7 am.

Once he’s ready to go, he enjoys a hearty, healthy breakfast with his family at 8 am.

Breakfast items vary, but often, the star football player’s first meal of the day consists of fresh fruit and veggies, whole grains, and orange juice.

At about midday, Lionel Messi heads back home, where he, his girlfriend, and his kids enjoy a healthy family lunch. Post lunch, the footballer kicks back, relaxes, and takes a much-needed and well-deserved nap at about 1 pm, which lasts until approximately 2 pm.

When he isn’t playing a match, Messi has team training around 5 pm, which can last for several hours and may include various activities.

At the completion of evening team training, he heads back home, and at around about 8 pm, has a family dinner.
