One Giants player, according to Rob Gronkowski, will be "Pro-Bowl" calibre this year

The New York Giants surprised many around the NFL in 2022, making the playoffs, and even winning a playoff game in the process.

As they turn their attention to 2023, the Giants have added several pieces to their roster, in hopes of building on prior success.

One of their recent additions was Darren Waller, who came from the Las Vegas Raiders.

On a recent segment of Up Adams, Rob Gronkowski fledged his support for Waller, saying “I believe he’s going to come back and he’s going to be a Pro Bowl-caliber player.”

Waller was one of the NFL’s best tight ends in 2019 and 2020, racking up over 1,110 yards in both seasons.

However, due to injuries in the past few years, Waller’s production has slowly faded.

Last year, Waller appeared in just eight games for the Raiders, totaling 28 receptions, which resulted in 388 yards and three touchdowns.

If Gronkowski’s most recent comments are any indication, he believes that Waller can re-activate his prior successes.

The Giants recently released tight end Evan Engram, and before Waller arrived, they did have a tight end need. In his first season with the team, Daniel Bellinger displayed flashes, but he hasnt yet found his stride. Wallers presence on the roster should enable both players to be utilised effectively and carve out a significant role for themselves. Joness production is expected to advance further, and Waller can undoubtedly help.
