Real Madrid 'to sign' Kylian Mbappe on pre-contract after PSG reject €220m transfer bid

Germain have reportedly turned down a world record transfer bid from Real Madrid for their superstar striker and the Spanish club will now aim to secure a pre-contract for the player

Real Madrid will sign Kylian Mbappe on a pre-contract agreement in January after being unsuccessful in a transfer offer that exceeded €220million, report Sky Sports.

It is claimed that Los Blancos made a transfer offer which would have broken the world record fee for a player in order to land the France international superstar this summer.

PSG are said not to have responded to that approach which led to Madrid pulling the plug on proceedings and admitting defeat in their pursuit of the player this year.

The Spanish giants will be able to sign Mbappe as a free agent on a pre-contract agreement in January as his contract in the French capital expires in June 2022.

Paris Saint-Germains French forward Kylian Mbappe has three goals already this season

Madrid had made Mbappe their transfer priority this summer and had been confident in securing a deal for the 22-year-old due to his contractual situation.
