PATNA: With bundle of anger Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Lalu Prasad Yadav criticized Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar for his "neech" comment against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Mani Shankar Aiyar is mentally ailing," RJD president Lalu said .

 Congress leader Aiyar earlier a day called PM Modi a "neech aadmi" (wicked man) who does "dirty politics" after the prime minister triggered the Congress saying that opposition party in quest of votes tried to wipe out  in B R Ambedkar's name and his contribution to country.

 On this row, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi asked higher-ranking party leader Mani Shankar Aiyar to express regret for his "neech" cutting remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Mujhko lagta hai ki ye aadmi bahut neech kisam ka aadmi hai, isme koi sabhyata nahi hai, or aise mauke par is kisam ki gandi rajniti karne ki kya avashyakta hai?" Mani Shankar Aiyar was quoted as saying by news agency.

The Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar answered to the question on PM Modi's attack on Rahul Gandhi earlier in the day.While inaugurating the Ambedkar International Centre in the national capital, PM Modi had taken a shot at Rahul Gandhi's comment on being a Shiva devotee and had said some parties talked more of Baba Bhole (Lord Shiva) than Babasaheb.In a broadside against the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi, who is filed his name to become party president, PM Modi had said political parties who seek votes in the name of Ambedkar were perhaps not even aware that the project of Ambedkar International Centre was pending.

Earlier this week, Mani Shankar Aiyar had used the analogy of Mughal heirs to justify Rahul Gandhi's raising as the party president, giving Prime Minister Narendra Modi fresh arms to attack the Gandhi scion.
