‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has been breaking several records ever since it released on December 22, 2017. The movie, a sequel to Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, has been helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The action thriller has garnered a great response not just from the audiences but also the critics. If the worldwide collections are considered, Tiger Zinda Hai has grossed around INR 423 crores in just 10 days. With this, the movie has become the second highest worldwide grosser of the year with Baahubali: The Conclusion being the first.

If we consider the domestic collections alone, TZH collected around INR 16 crores taking the overall collection to INR 270.75 crore approx. If all time grossers are considered, TZH stands at the seventh position as Dhoom: 3 at INR 525 crores and Sultan at 580 crores. Tiger Zinda Hai might cross the former's record but with the film suffering due to ban in Pakistan and other parts of UAE, it seems difficult to break Sultan's records.

Meanwhile, Salman credited the success of Tiger Zinda Hai to Katrina Kaif. Katrina too expressed her happiness of being appreciated for the movie and said, "It’s extremely important, and that’s why it feels nice. Portraying the role of a powerful female character or projecting women in strong light don’t necessarily mean that one has to play the protagonist or the solo lead. The fact that people are talking about my action scenes or role in the film despite Salman’s presence is exciting. It is really nice to see that the female character could be as strong," the actress added.
