Udupi: building a Ram temple, avoidance of religious conversions, and cow protection are among the major concerns to be talked about at the VHP's 'Dharma Sansad' kicking off here today, organizers said.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat would address at the 3-day gathering, which is also expected to be attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,Yoga guru Ramdev  and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar,.

More than 2,000 saints, mutt chief and VHP leaders from across the nation will be present at the convene. Meeting would also discuss the issues of discrimination on the basis of caste and gender, and see the sights to ensure harmony within the Hindu society, organizers said.

Constructing a Ram temple in Ayodhya, cow protection, abolition of untouchability, social reform, and prevention of religious conversions would come up for conversation, Udupi-based Pejawar mutt seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swami, who chairs the reception commission for the jumbo event, told.

The see retold the Dharma Sansad was completely differed from "politics and political program" and would only be a mass of Hindu saints.

The Dharma Sansad would take on pledge on November 26. The participating saints would carry a Shobha Yatra procession the same day.

A mega Hindu Samajotsava, where Yogi Adityanath would address, would mark the winding up of the Sansad.
