In the wake of #Metoo, Author Ira Trivedi also shared her story and accused author Chetan Bhagat of sexual harassment. In response to allegations chetan Bhagat drafted a mail to prove his innocence.

Writer Ira has spoke up about incident and said that When Chetan asked Ira what she does when men hit on her at book launches,then she replied that she tell him that if he buys a 100 books she will kiss him, and she will marry him if he buys all her books. A week letter when Chetan then went on to invite Ira and tried to kiss her and he used her lines against her stating that he bought 100 copies of her books and donated it to a library.

In response to allegation, Chetan Bhagat took to twitter and attached a mail which Era has sent to him in year 2013. Urging to stop metal harassment, the author wrote that So who wanted to kiss whom? @iratrivedi’s self-explanatory email from 2013 to me, esp last line, easily shows her claims from 2010 are false, and she knows this too. This mental harassment of me and my family has to stop. Please don’t harm a movement with #fakecharges #harassed.

#MeToo movement has became a burning topic and many celebrities including Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Kailash Kher and Said Khan have been accused of sexual harassment.
