Jaipur: In a dreadful, unpleasant incident which points toward that protests over Bollywood’s most controversial film 'Padmavati' have taken a deadlier turn, a body was found hanging from Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Friday.

A death note has been recovered written on a rock alongside the body, which read: "We don't behead, but hang".

The Rajasthan Police seeking at it as a murder case, but have not ruled out its links with Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie.

The plentifully mounted film has a multitalented star cast Deepika Padukone in the title role along with Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, is a joint production by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions.

Many factions have been protesting amid rumors that there was a loving dream sequence between Rajput queen Padmini and Allauddin Khilji. On the other hand, Director Bhansali said in an appeal that there was no dream sequence and it was all a rumor.

Historians are alienated on whether Padmini actually existed. She recovered first mention in the 16th-century epic poem "Padmavati".

Earlier scheduled to get there in cinema halls on December 1, the release date of the film has now been deferred by the makers till further notice.
