Jaipur: Children will sing patriotic songs together in all schools on August 12 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Rajasthan. During this time, one crore students will set a world record by singing patriotic songs. Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, Pawan Kumar Goyal has informed that in order to instil a sense of patriotism among the children, on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, mass singing of patriotic songs will be organized in all government and non-government schools of the state at 10 am on Friday at the same time.

He said that CM Ashok Gehlot will also participate in the program to be held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur at the state level. The concerned district in-charge minister will participate as the chief guest in the district-level programmes. He said that about one crore school children are estimated to participate in the patriotic singing program, which can become a world record.

Pawan Kumar Goyal further said that the district-level program will be held at those places in the district, where the Independence Day program has been organized in the past. At the block level, this program will be organized by the block level administration in the largest stadium or the sports ground of the largest school. Whereas, the school-level program will be organized on the school premises itself.
