New Delhi: India is gearing up to intensify the vaccination campaign against the world-threatening corona epidemic. So far, a plan is being worked out to double the vaccine dose being administered to about 5 million people every day within two months. About 10 million people in the country will be vaccinated daily in the month of October.

Talking to the media, Dr. N.K. Arora, Chairman, Task Force Operation Group for Coweed, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that four more Indian vaccines are coming to India soon. A total of six vaccines will be available to the people of India after two months. Not only that, but the number of vaccinations will also double. Dr. Arora said that at present about 5million people in India are being administered vaccine supplements every day. This number also decreases and increases. However, in the month of October, in addition to covaxin and covishield, the Indian-made vaccine of Sputnik V and doses of three other India-made vaccines will begin to appear here.

Trials of all vaccine companies and all unnecessary activities are continuing continuously. At the same time, the Central Government is keeping an eye on it. About 300 million doses per month will be present in India from October. In such a situation, one crore people can be vaccinated every day. These include Covaxin, Covishield, Sputnik V, Gennova mRNA Vaccine, Biological E Vaccine, and ZyCoV-D vaccine. The approval for Zydus Cadila has been stalled for the past few weeks, though it is expected to be cleared soon.
