New Delhi: Koo App, popularly known as Desi Twitter, is becoming popular amid the ongoing tussle between the Government of India and Twitter. In the last few days, the scale of this home-grown app has increased rapidly. Even many ministers, leaders, actors of the country are also joining this new platform. According to the media report, ever since the dispute between the Government of India and Twitter has become public, the engagement of people with the Koo app has intensified.

In the last two to three days, more than one lakh new people are downloading the Koo app every day, while the total number of downloads has crossed three million. A few days ago, Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced that he is now on the Koo app. Apart from him, many big names have joined this desi app. Big names like Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher have joined this app.

Many big ministries and officials of the Government of India are also present on this app. According to Radhakrishna, one of the co-founders of the Koo app said that in the last few days many people have joined this app. This is the reason why the app has not been able to load in recent times and has also been down a few times. But their effort is to continuously improve so that more load can be taken.
