Airtel Payments Bank said that more than 10,000 customers have opened savings accounts with it inside two days of running live with a pilot extend in Rajasthan.
The majority share of these records have been opened by customers in semi-urban and rural zones, underlining the potential for development of keeping money benefits in such ranges, Airtel Payments Bank said. A week ago, Airtel Payments Bank turned into the first Payments Bank to run live with the rollout of the pilot services.
"We are putting forth the most noteworthy interest rate on savings account deposits in the nation alongside individual insurance of Rs 1 lakh and may take a gander at sweetening the incentivized offer further and present more advantages in the coming days," Shashi Arora, MD, and CEO, Airtel Payments Bank said.
