Raipur: The corona epidemic infection is on the rise across the country and has now captured naxalites in Chhattisgarh. Dantewada Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallava has claimed that more than 10 naxalites have died due to food poisoning and corona infection in the forests of South Bastar.

According to sources, Dantewada Superintendent of Police Dr Abhishek Pallava claimed that the situation in the forests of South Bastar has become extremely worse due to corona virus. More than 100 small and big cadre naxalites have been infected with Covid-19. Inspector General (IG) of Bastar, Sundarraj P has said, "The government cannot send doctors to treat naxalites. The police also provide treatment to the injured naxalites. If they surrender then treatment will be done. There is no question of sending the health department for them".

According to the Chhattisgarh Health Department, 11867 people have been confirmed with corona virus infection in the state during the last 24 hours. Since then, the number of people infected with the virus has now increased to 8,63,343. State health department officials said that 8 lakh 63 thousand 343 people have been confirmed infected in the state so far.
