Leh: Talks have moved forward if China has stepped back on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. Yesterday i.e. Wednesday, about 4 hours Major General level talks were held. Talks will continue with China even today, although the level and location of the talks are not yet clear. Yesterday's conversation has been described as positive.

Even though China has retreated, still more than 10,000 of its soldiers are posted with the LAC. The Indian Army is also deployed in response to the Chinese troops, and additional contingent of ten to twelve thousand soldiers of India were frozen on the LAC. Unless China withdraws its army, the Indian Army is not going to back down. Several level talks are to be held with China including Colonel, Brigadier and Major General. In the talks, LAC will be discussed to reduce tension on Petroling Point 14, Petroling Point 15 and 17. Major General level officers sat face to face in the discussion held on Wednesday.

The discussion between the two countries was reduced due to the discussion on June 6, but China's attitude did not change. If we step back a few steps, but finger-4 is still screwed. Due to this, tension continues in Pangong Lake. The Indian government has been claiming that all areas from Finger 1 to Finger 8 on the edge of Pangong belong to India. China does not accept that a road should be constructed from the Indian side in the Finger area near Pangong Lake.
