While some people are so obsessed with dogs that they are willing to do anything for them and one such woman is Pragnya Mishra from Uttarakhand, who travelled 349 km from Uttarakhand to Noida in search of a lost dog.

In fact, the 31-year-old had come to work in Greater Kailash, South Delhi, on May 28 and found a indigenous breed dog on the roadside. Then he thought he might have strayed home, though the next day the dog again saw him and then took him with him.

According to media reports, since Pragya had to return to Uttarakhand, she started looking for a family that could adopt the dog and then found an American man who wanted to adopt the dog. She told the woman that she would come to India in a month or two, and the dog should be sent to the animal welfare centre. It is also reported that about Rs 34 thousand was paid by the American for adoption of the dog, although in the meantime the dog went missing somewhere. The woman said that she had contacted Noida Police to find the dog, though she had not filed a complaint. But a Knowledge Park police station official has said that the police have lodged a complaint and the search for the dog is still going on.
