Bhopal: Politics is on the upbeat in Madhya Pradesh these days over a share of land. In fact, 10,000 square feet of land in Govindpura, an industrial area of Bhopal, was allotted by the government to an RSS-linked institution. Since this happened, the opposition party has been working to corner the Government. In fact, there was an illegal park on this land earlier. Now, after the institution got the land, the work of removing the park has started from here.

This led to protests by district Congress workers. As soon as the work of removing the park started, several Congress workers arrived and sat on strike. Former state CM Digvijay Singh has also reacted to the issue. Recently senior Congress leaders arrived here and inspected the land. He said, "This is the land on which the present Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former Chief Minister Late Babulal Gaur planted saplings.'' At the same time, he questioned the government, 'What happened is that the government gave this land to the RSS institution.'

In fact, after the institution gets the land, the trees are also being cut down from here. In view of this, Digvijay Singh said, "Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan pretends to plant trees. They are now cutting down the trees where they have planted them in the past.'' Apart from him, the Govind Pura industry association has also strongly opposed the removal of the park. In fact, the Association says, "When the people here as well as the government people have planted saplings themselves, how was the parkland handed over to an NGO?''
