100-Member J&K Panchayat Delegation Holds Talks With Amit Shah to ‘Bring Normalcy in Valley’

New Delhi: After the removal of Article 370 of the Constitution giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is proposed to meet the common people of the state today. A delegation of about 100 people from Jammu and Kashmir has reached Delhi to meet Amit Shah and Home Ministry officials.

It is being told that people from Jammu, Pulwama, Ladakh, and Kashmir are included in this delegation. The delegation of Jammu Kashmir Panchayat Association reached the Ministry of Home Affairs around 12 noon on Tuesday. The delegation will first meet officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The delegation will then hold a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah.

It is being told by sources that in this meeting to be held with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Jammu and Kashmir delegation can discuss the future of the valley. Along with this, it is also possible to discuss the restrictions imposed to prevent any untoward incident in Jammu and Kashmir. It is also being told that Amit Shah can keep information about the government's plans for the state in front of the Valley delegation.
