After a wedding event in the Sardarshahr town of Rajasthan's Churu region, more than 100 individuals, including 45 children, fell ill with food poisoning. The elderly, women and men had to be hospitalized in the middle of the night, provoking chaos. Despite putting two or even three patients on a single bed, the hospital fell short of space, forcing some patients to lie on the floor.

According to the sources, one Kalu Kuchamania got all four of his daughters married on the same day. The wedding took held at Sardarshahr's Ward No. 44. In this, two grooms reached from Bidasar, one groom came from Jodhpur, and the other one arrived from Ladnun. The feast went on till 4 am on Wednesday. However, after a few hours of eating, many people started vomiting and complaining of stomach pain and diarrhea. When the condition of the people deteriorated, they were brought to the state hospital by autos and minibuses.

Until 2 p.m. the next day, the patients continued to come into the hospital. The hospital in charge had to call in the entire medical team for treatment at midnight due to a large number of ill patients. Because they really can not cure everyone in the same hospital, some were sent to private hospitals. Many members of the wedding processions were also suffering from indigestion and food poisoning symptoms, but they had already departed Sardarshahr at that time. According to the information received, Sardarshahr Police arrived at the hospital after learning of the incident and enquired about it.
