New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the 100th episode of his radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' on Sunday (April 30). Special preparations have been made for this episode across the globe. Even in the United Nations (UN) headquarters, this program of PM Modi is being telecasted live. It is worth noting that till date no such program has been telecasted live in the UN. Apart from this, PM Modi is also being heard live in many countries of the world.
Starting today's episode, PM Modi said, Today is the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat'. I have received thousands of letters from all of you, lakhs of messages and I have tried to read as many letters as possible, see them, try to understand the messages a little bit. He said, Many times while reading your letters, I got emotional, filled with emotions, got carried away in emotions and also managed myself again. You have congratulated me on the 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', but I sincerely say, in fact, all of you are the listeners of 'Mann Ki Baat', our countrymen, who deserve congratulations.
PM Modi said, "3 October 2014 was the festival of Vijaya Dashami and together we all started the journey of 'Mann Ki Baat' on the day of Vijaya Dashami. Vijaya Dashami i.e., the festival of victory of good over evil, 'Mann Ki Baat' has also become a unique festival of positivity of the goodness of the countrymen. Such a festival, which comes every month, for which we all wait." He said, "We celebrate positivity in this. We also celebrate people's participation in this. Sometimes it is hard to believe that so many months and so many years have passed since 'Mann Ki Baat'. Every episode was special in itself." PM Modi said that in 'Mann Ki Baat' people from every corner of the country, people of all age groups joined.
He said, "For me 'Mann Ki Baat' is like a plate of Prasad at the feet of God-like public-Janardan. 'Mann Ki Baat' has become a spiritual journey of my mind. 'Mann Ki Baat' is a journey from self to community. 'Mann Ki Baat' is a journey from ego to self." He said, "Today tourism is growing very fast in the country. Be it our natural resources, rivers, mountains, ponds or our places of pilgrimage, it is very important to keep them clean. This will help the tourism industry a lot. Along with cleanliness in tourism, we have also discussed the Incredible India movement many times. With this movement, for the first time, people came to know about many such places, which were only around them."
He said, "I always say that before going on tourism abroad, we must visit at least 15 tourist destinations of our country and this destination should not be from the state where you live, your state. Must be from any other state outside."
