103-year-old Sukha Singh becomes oldest 'Corona Survivor'

New Delhi: The number of corona infected patients is increasing steadily in the country. The good thing is that people are getting healthy and going home too. Even after this, there are many elderly patients who, despite being over-aged, are beating the corona. 103-year-old Sukha Singh Chhabra has returned home after defeating Corona amidst increasing cases of corona infection. He is the oldest patient in the country, having defeated Corona by staying in ICU for 24 days.

6 people of Chhabra family were hit by the disease, out of which 5 have returned home after recovering. Tara Singh Chhabra, an 86-year-old relative of Sukhs Singh, is undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to doctors, he too will be sent home in two days. The maximum number of patients infected in the country are in the age group of 50 years or more. Most of the deaths are also occurring in India at the age of 50 years or more.

Singh was admitted to Kaushalya Hospital in Thane on June 2 due to Corona positive, fever and shortness of breath. According to Dr. Amit Lala Khomane, seeing the age of the patient, he was taken to the ICU. With treatment and will, his health started improving in a few days. He was transferred to the ward 14 days later. He had trouble with breathing again and kept in ICU. After 24 days, his corona report came back negative, then he was discharged on Monday.
