Auraiya: The Erwa Tikur village under Ervakatra police station area of Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh has witnessed mysterious death of several peacocks simultaneously. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information. The villagers came to know about the incident when they were on their way to their fields. The news spread like fire in the village.

At the same time, as soon as the information was received, other villagers rushed to the fields. The village head informed the police and forest department about the entire incident. Forest department personnel also rushed to the spot after receiving the information. With the help of villagers and police, national birds lying in the fields were picked up and collected and sent to the hospital for Porsmartam. According to villagers, 11 national birds have died, but the forest department personnel have put the number of dead birds at eight. At the moment, the cause of peacock death is not clear. There have been reports of foam coming from the mouths of birds. The entire picture will be clear only after the post mortem report is received.

Forest department employee Prem Shankar has said that it remains to be seen whether there is actually any such incident as hunting behind the death of national birds. The way birds have died is shocking. The entire reality will be known only after the post mortem report is received.
