Mumbai. The monsoon session of the Maharashtra Assembly began with a huge uproar. Twelve BJP MLAs have been suspended for a year for creating ruckus in support of agriculture law, OBC reservation. The MLAs including Sanjay Kute, Ashish Shelar, Harish Pimple, Yogesh Sagar, Girij Mahajan, Abhimanyu Pawar, Atul Bhatkhalkar, Narayan Kuche and Bunty Bangadia.
As soon as the Monsoon session began, BJP MLAs first staged a hand-held demonstration outside the Assembly with banners on OBC reservation, Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) and agriculture issues. This created a ruckus inside the House. Earlier, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had said in a statement on Sunday that 'If the opposition BJP thinks about the interest of the people of Maharashtra, it should not create any confusion in the monsoon session. 'It is not proper to surround the Government by creating ruckus. Doing so will not helps vaccination, unemployment and the problems of the economy.
Sanjay Raut said that the Maharashtra government has many issues and many problems of the people for discussion. If the BJP feels committed to the welfare of the state, it will allow the assembly session to continue without any interruption. The people of the state also want this two-day session to be completed without any noise.
