Nowadays cases of rising crime are all shocked. One such case that has come up recently is from Hyderabad. Police have detained two of the three minors accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in The Jogu Lamba Gadwal district of Telangana on Wednesday. Talking about the case, the police said on Thursday that "Anantapuram village resident, a fifth-grade student, had returned home early from school on Wednesday as she did not attend school a day before Independence Day, but was discharged after organising the games."
At that time, her parents had moved away from the village in connection with the work. A student of Class VIII and two students of Class IX lured the girl to the nearby bushes and sexually assaulted her. When the parents returned home, they found the baby crying. The girl told the parents about the incident, after which the family lodged a complaint with the police.
During the investigation, the police found that "two accused had sexually assaulted the girl a few months ago." Her parents had also caught both boys but did not complain to the police for fear of social stigma. In this case, the police said, "The girl's father runs auto-rickshaws and the mother works in the fields." The case is filed in accordance with the Protection Act (POSCO).
