Thiruvananthapuram: 1,211 new cases of corona infection were reported in Kerala on Sunday. Two infected people died due to the virus. After this, the total number of cases of corona infection in the state has increased to 34,331. State Health Minister KK Shailaja said that the at local level,  the infection spread due to coming in contact with infected people in the new cases.

She said, "At least 1,026 new cases of corona infections have been reported at the local level, and 103 patients are yet to know how the corona infection occurred. 76 people returning from abroad and 78 from other states have fallen victim to the coronavirus. "After the death of 2 more people from the corona in the state, the total number of dead increased to 108. During this, 970 infected corona people on this Sunday have been cured. The minister said that 27 health workers have also come under the grip of Corona.

Let us tell you that after the 62,064 new cases of corona in India, the total number of patients in India has crossed 22 lakhs on Monday. After the death of 1007 more people due to coronavirus, the number of dead has increased to 44,386. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 15,35,743 people have recovered from the infection so far. A record 54,859 people have recovered in the last twenty-four hours. In India, the rate of recovery of infected people is 69.33 percent. The death rate has decreased to around 2 percent.
