Khargon: In Khargon district of Madhya Pradesh, children being transported for wages in different vehicles have been safely freed, and police are taking action against four contractors in this regard. According to the police, 125 children were being transported to Takriban in Bistaan police station area on Monday in four pick-up vehicles for wages.

Police said the vehicles were searched by joint teams of members of Police, Women's Child Development Department, Child Line, Labour Department, etc. These children are given different kinds of work. Swapnil Beauhar of the child line at Bhagwanpura has informed the press about the whole matter and the joint team intercepted the four vehicles and searched the four vehicles as soon as they came to know about the children being taken out of Anjangarhi village for wages.

He further told the press that during the search, it was confirmed that the children were being taken for wages. With the help of police, the vehicle has been confiscated with the help of safe release of children, and strict action is being taken against the contractors. He said the family members of the children are also being ascertained.
