Andhra Pradesh's death toll has risen to 14,241 with 11 new deaths reported in Krishna, Prakasam and West Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Kadapa, Nellore and Srikakulam districts in the last twenty-four hours. 671 fresh cases were reported, taking the total number of cases across the state to 20,53,192. On the other hand, 1272 new patients were cured on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 20,30,503 and currently there are 9141 active cases.

As per district-wise data, West Godavari reported 109 new cases, followed by Chittoor with 102 cases and Guntur 91 while Kurnool recorded the lowest number of cases with three new cases in the last twenty-four hours. Andhra Pradesh has so far conducted 2.85 COVID-19 tests across the state, which includes 41,523 tests in the last 24 hours. The state has vaccinated more than four crore people across the state in Andhra Pradesh.

India recorded 18,346 fresh Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, the lowest in 6 months, the Union Health Ministry informed on Tuesday. With this, the country's active caseload stands at 2,52,902; accounting for less than 1 percent of the total cases. Whereas on Tuesday, about 263 people have died due to corona virus.
