Kyiv: Between the wars of Russia and Ukraine, there are very emotional occurrences. One such incident has been reported from Snake Island in Ukraine. Russia has captured the island by killing 13 Ukrainian soldiers for refusing to surrender. When the soldiers on board the Russian warship asked the 13 Border Guards to surrender, they refused, after which the Russian troops killed all the 13 Border Guards. For the unprecedented bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers, Ukraine has awarded them the Hero of Ukraine honour.

 

Snake Island, also known as Zmiinyi Island, is located in the Black Sea south of Odesa. The Russian warship arrived there and threatened an attack and asked the border guards to surrender. On this, the border guards stationed there showed courage and challenged the Russian soldiers. Then the Bravehearts of Ukraine abused the Russian soldiers in the warship, challenging them and flatly refusing to surrender. The Russian soldiers then killed all of them.

According to the information, the Russian Navy had sent the Moskva and Vasily Bykov warships towards Snake Island. An attempt was made to scare the soldiers on the island with the first deck guns. Then later the island was captured by sending Russian troops over it. Ukraine's Foreign Ministry tweeted that Russia had captured Ukraine's Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. 13 border guards present there have been killed. They refused to surrender. They are awarded the 'Hero of Ukraine' award.
