Bhubaneswar: The whole country is struggling with Corona. With 1,376 new cases of corona infection in Odisha on Sunday, the number of corona patients has increased to more than 25,000. After the death of ten more people due to this corona infection, the figure of the deceased has risen to 140. A health officer said that 25,389 people have been found corona infected so far in the state.

He has further told that on Sunday, 917 cases of coronavirus were reported in isolated centres and 459 people have become positive due to contact of an infected person at the local level. Ganjam district of Odisha is most affected by this epidemic where 484 new cases of corona have been reported. After this, cases of corona were reported in Khurda 187, Keonjhar 103, Puri 91, Cuttack 75 and Gajapati 74 on Sunday. New cases of corona infection have been reported in all thirty districts of the state.

Out of ten patients who died, 6 people lost their lives in Ganjam. 2 in Khurda and 1 in Gajapati and Sundergarh have been killed. So far 79 people have died due to this epidemic in Ganjam and so far 8,678 cases of corona have been reported in the district. Currently, 9,286 infected people are being treated and 15,929 people have been cured.
