Guwahati: 1 thousand 380 new corona infected cases have been registered in Assam in 24 hours. After the new cases found on Thursday, the number of infected in the state has reached 1 lakh 50 thousand 349. State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed about this. The minister said that so far 20,557 samples have been tested, 1,380 samples turned out COVID19 positive. In total, 1,19,364 patients have recovered. There are 30,454 active cases.

The total death toll in the state has reached 528. Along with this, he informed that the positivity rate in the state is 6.71 percent. According to the data released on Friday by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 96,424 new COVID-19 virus cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. There have been 1,174 deaths during this period. The total positive cases in India has increased to 52,14,678.

There are 10 lakh active cases in the country. There have been 10,17,754 active cases in the country. This is 19.52 per cent of the total case. 41,12,552 have been healthy / discharged/migrated. The big thing is that more than 1000 people are dying daily in India. So far 84,372 persons have died in India.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, a total of 6,15,72,343 samples were tested for COVID-19 virus as of yesterday (17 September), of which 10,06,615 samples were tested yesterday. The cases of corona are steadily increasing.
