Lucknow: Police have arrested a 13-year-old minor boy in connection with the murder of a 1-year-old innocent girl in The Sairapur police station area of Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow. Police said the minor wanted to avenge his father's humiliation. So he killed the child in a filmy style and put her inside the water tank in the school. The body of the girl could not come up so that the criminal minor had tied a brick in her legs.

According to the information received, the 1-year-old daughter of Sushil Pandey had gone missing from the house in Jugaur village of Sairapur police station area. Sushil lodged a complaint with the police. Subsequently, a search operation was launched to trace the girl child. During the search, it was found that two minor boys had taken the girl with them to the school. When the police searched the school, the body of the girl was found lying inside the water tank in the toilet. The child had a brick tied to her leg and there were no clothes on her body.

The same police fished out the body from the water tank and sent it for post-mortem and after hours of investigation of the entire case, the matter was revealed. According to the police, the 13-year-old minor had killed the innocent girl. Police said, the murdered child is a drug addict and often harasses people. He has also complained to his family several times. DCP North Zone S. Chinnappa said, a case of murder of the girl has been registered. The criminal minor killed the girl to avenge the humiliation of her father. His interrogation is currently ongoing and will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board soon.
